Description:

The method of teaching Maria Montesorii became the main assumption of the project. The layout of the building was divided into two functional zones: child’s zone and service-administration zone. The functions divide the corridor, which allows for full isolation of preschooler’s from non-essential items such as the functioning of administrative and ancillary rooms. The child’s rooms were equipped with a storage room in the middle of the room, so that life, play and learning would take place around it. This idea derives from the main assumption of the Montessor method - children freely choose the type, place, time and form of work (individual or with a partner) while maintaining social rules. The teacher is only supposed to help in development, hence the arrangement of the storehouse in the middle allows for freedom deduce various teaching aids and toys. Children acquire knowledge and experience through their own activity. In the room there is a mezzanine for resting. The main goal is to cover the roof with greenery with access for children. This solution significantly affects the fun climate, but also has energy-saving benefits.
